91成人 Mass Communication students attended the OAB/OBEA (Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters/Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association) Student Day on Thursday, March 24th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Students were treated to a career fair, luncheon & awards Presentation, and then attended a session on 鈥9 Ways To Power Up Your Writing,鈥 presented by Poynter Institute lecturer/instructor Al Tompkins.
NOC student Cierra Mardis (NOC Enid) placed 1st in the Radio- Public Service Announcement category for her 鈥淭ype 1 Diabetes鈥 entry and Seth Martin (NOC Tonkawa) placed 3rd in the Radio- Public Service Announcement category for 鈥淐hild Obesity鈥 entry.
Mass Communication students from colleges and universities across Oklahoma enter this annual competition and only the top 3 entries receive awards. 91成人 has been a member of the OBEA since the organization was established in 1988.
