Enid, OK — 91���� Enid is proud to announce the official launch of a Donor Matching Challenge Campaign with a $750,000 fundraising goal to raise funds in support of a cutting-edge Athletic Training Education Center at Failing Field. This new facility will not only serve as a hub for student-athlete care and rehabilitation but will also provide advanced educational opportunities for students pursuing careers in sports medicine and athletic training.

Thanks to a generous commitment from the Allen Family Foundation, every dollar donated or pledged between now and midnight, December 31, will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $375,000, effectively doubling the impact of each contribution.

Mark Allen, representing the Allen Family Foundation, shared, “We are excited to support a project that benefits the Enid baseball community and our long-standing partnership with the David Allen Memorial Ballpark. Additionally, we are pleased to support 91����, its students and the future career opportunities in the athletic healthcare fields.” Allen further commented, “The Allen Family Foundation hopes that their matching challenge donation will inspire others to join in this project to insure it has the necessary funding needed to see it through completion.”

With the combined support from numerous educational partners, the overall $2.95 million comprehensive “All In Together” campaign is nearing the end with just $750,000 remaining to complete this campaign goal. The “All In Together” comprehensive campaign encompasses three phases of this capital project with the completion of the new center as a crucial component.

“This is more than just a building project—it’s an investment in the health, safety, and future success of our students,” said Diana Morris,  President of 91����. “Our student-athletes give their all on the field and in the classroom, and this facility will ensure they have access to the best care, training, and educational resources available. The matching challenge gives our alumni, fans, and community members a unique opportunity to make their support go twice as far.”

91���� approved the “All In Together” capital campaign as well as a Capital Project Agreement between NOC, Enid Public Schools, and the 91���� Foundation, Inc. for the Athletic Training Education Center and Failing Field renovation in October 2025.

Jeremy Hise, Vice President for NOC Enid, said the new facility would not only provide opportunities for NOC Enid athletic training students but also meet the workforce needs for northwestern Oklahoma.  He added that athletic trainers are challenging to find in rural areas but students in other health fields also would benefit from the education center. NOC was without an athletic trainer in 2023 due to a nationwide shortage in the athletic training field.

“This is definitely a workforce need,” Hise said. “We will be providing better opportunities for good careers for our students.  It will also have a broader impact by benefitting Enid Public Schools, David Allen Memorial Ballpark, and the City of Enid.”

The 2000 square foot Athletic Training Education Center (ATEC) will feature:

• State-of-the-art training room with rehabilitation and therapy spaces designed for injury prevention, treatment, and recovery.

• Specialized sports medicine classroom and lab where students can gain hands-on experience with real-world equipment and techniques.

• Advanced diagnostic and performance technology to monitor and enhance athletic performance.

• Community outreach areas to host clinics, workshops, and programs for local athletes and coaches.

The project reflects NOC Enid’s commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics. By integrating modern facilities with innovative teaching methods, the college aims to prepare students for successful careers in athletic training and other allied health degrees.

Sheri Snyder, Vice President for Development and Community Relations/Executive Director of the NOC Foundation, encourages community members, alumni, and supporters to participate in the matching challenge by making a gift before the deadline. Tax-deductible contributions can be made securely online at ,  by mail, or in person at the NOC Development Office. Snyder commented, “Every donation, no matter the size, will be matched and will directly contribute to the success of the project.”
